Check-in timer
Her phone died. The alarm went out anyway.
Start a timer before the cab, the walk home, the first date. If you don't end it in time, Safero's server alerts your contacts. Your phone doesn't have to be on.
Safero is a personal safety app: hold the button or shake your phone, and the people you chose get your live location by push and email. Can't reach it? A check-in timer raises the alarm for you, even if your phone has died.
Good evening,Asha
SAFEROTap to follow her live location.
How it works
Three minutes on a calm day decides what happens on a bad one.
A name, a phone number, an email. They don't need the app: the alert reaches them by email with a private link to your live location.
Hold the button, shake the phone hard in your pocket, or tap the Safero tile in your quick settings. A shake starts a short countdown so a false alarm can be cancelled.
Each contact sees your location as it moves, your battery level, and the medical details you chose to share. Audio starts recording after a 3-second notice and uploads as it goes.
Features
Most safety apps assume you can unlock your screen and tap the right thing. Safero plans for the times you can't.
Check-in timer

Duress PIN
Enter your duress PIN and the screen says the alarm ended. Your contacts are still being told.
Shake to alert
Motion is read on your phone and never uploaded.
Safe zones
Save the places that matter. Arrivals and departures are checked on your phone; the crossings aren't uploaded.
Evidence that stays
Audio and photos upload as they're captured. For 90 days they can't be deleted by anyone, you included.
Women's safety
Safero is for anyone who might need help. These are the moments it was built for, and the moments women plan around every day.
Start a check-in with the car number as your note. If you don't end it when you're home, your contacts are alerted with where you were, even if your phone has been switched off.
Shake it hard, through the bag. No unlocking, no finding the app, no looking at the screen.
Your duress PIN makes the alarm look ended while your contacts keep being alerted.
A fake call rings when you need it, so you have a reason to step out.
Parents can watch over your alarms, and only your alarms. You decide, and you can remove them.
For families
Send a parent or partner an invitation link. They see your alarms while they're running, and whether an alarm would reach anyone. Nothing else.

Shake it hard, even in your pocket with the screen off. Safero shows a 5-second countdown you can cancel with one tap; if you don't, the alert goes out. You can also use the Safero tile in your quick settings.
No. Your contacts and responders see your location only while an alarm you raised is running, through a link that stops working after 24 hours. It's never used for ads or sold.
There's no iPhone app yet. You can use Safero in Safari at app.safero.codexaicorp.com; shake-to-alert and alarms that keep running with the screen off need the Android app.
No. Safero gets the people you trust to you faster, but it isn't an emergency service. If you're in danger now, call 112. The app has a one-tap 112 button.
